The Gap in Between Startup Challenge 2026

The Gap in Between Startup Challenge is an international initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship as a driver of social and environmental transformation.

We seek to identify and highlight startups developing innovative solutions to today's most pressing challenges. Through this challenge, we not only connect impact entrepreneurs with resources, capital, and strategic partners, but also place them at the heart of a global conversation about the future we want to build: a more just, inclusive, regenerative, and collaborative one.

In 2026, the challenge focuses on five key innovation verticals:

• Climate technology and energy
• Smart cities and mobility
• Agritechnology and food systems
• Health, wellness, and care
• Social and economic systems

Prizes ans benefits

For the 20 semifinalists:

• Customized physical booths at the event
• TGIB Startup Challenge winner: €10,000
• Access to a network of investors, mentors, and top-tier events (4YFN, South Summit, etc.)
• Connection with key ecosystem players.
